ClipType takes text already stored in the clipboard and enters it into the active field as native keystrokes, one character at a time. This provides an alternative to ordinary pasting in RDP and VNC sessions, restricted password fields, blocked input boxes, and legacy terminals where Ctrl+V fails.

Its typing engine can add randomized delays between characters and extra pauses around punctuation, supporting the project’s anti-bot mode for monitored systems, government portals, and security forms. It preserves code indentation and spacing, repairs CRLF and LF line endings, and can trim unwanted whitespace at the beginning or end of the text. An optional clipboard-wipe setting clears the clipboard from system memory as soon as injection finishes.

On Windows, pressing Esc stops an active injection immediately, while typing also halts when the destination window loses focus to reduce accidental input. The interface supports English and Arabic, accommodates screen readers, and provides beeps for injection start, progress, and completion, making it useful for accessibility-focused workflows as well as remote sessions.

Developed by Ahmed Samy, ClipType 2.0.0 is an x64 Windows System Tools utility, with the project also presenting versions for Linux and macOS.
