Compass2.2.0

Compass turns an Android device into a clear directional reference, showing which way you are facing while traveling or orienting yourself. It can indicate both magnetic north and true north, allowing users to select the directional reference they need. The display presents the heading as exact degrees together with a cardinal direction such as north or southeast.

A sensor status panel reports the condition of the sensors supporting the reading, while haptic feedback provides a tactile response during use. Light and dark themes accommodate different display preferences and surroundings. Its focused design suits travelers and anyone using a phone to establish orientation.

Compass has no advertisements, trackers, or unnecessary permissions, keeping its access and presentation tied to compass readings. It is open-source software in the Navigation & Travel category for people seeking straightforward directional information without unrelated functions.

The app requires Android 7.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. Version 2.2.0 is a housekeeping release with no functional changes.
