The new --redup option, usable globally or as a volume flag, converts local files among full copies, reflinks, symlinks, and hardlinks; --redup-dry previews the consequences, and its warning recommends a filesystem snapshot because the feature is new and lightly tested. Reflink-based deduplication can also operate between volumes when possible.

The -i no option starts copyparty without its webserver for indexing, testing, or similar tasks, while newly introduced CSP nonces may disrupt some JavaScript-based plugins. This makes copyparty suitable for personal network storage, lightweight file-transfer servers, and media collections managed from one compact program.
