Encrypt personal documents, photos, and work files locally before placing them in cloud storage with Cryptomator, a multi-platform client-side encryption client. It creates protected vaults that encrypt both file contents and filenames with AES using 256-bit keys, regardless of where the underlying data is stored. You open a vault with its password and work with the decrypted files through the normal file system. For shared workspaces, zero-knowledge key management, centralized access controls, individual team-member accounts, and integration with existing identity management support controlled collaboration.
