CursorSense lets Mac users adjust cursor acceleration and sensitivity so pointer movement responds to their preferred feel. It addresses the limits of macOS System Settings when those controls do not provide enough precision for adjusting cursor behavior. Recommended settings give users a starting point for tuning movement, after which they can refine the response to suit slower, more deliberate control or quicker navigation. A cursor-snapping function provides another way to make pointer operation easier.

The utility suits people who find their cursor too fast, too slow, or difficult to control during everyday navigation and detailed on-screen work. It is also useful for Mac users who want cursor behavior handled through a dedicated System Tools utility rather than only through standard system controls.

The current 2.5 version requires macOS 12 Monterey or later and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. CursorSense is freeware, and CursorSense 2 uses a lifetime license rather than a recurring monthly or yearly fee. Minor updates, such as versions 2.0 to 2.1, are provided at no additional charge, while major upgrades, such as moving from 2.0 to 3.0, are charged separately.
