Customer Database

Customer Database is an open-source Android application for managing customer information on smartphones and tablets. It is intended for small companies that want to keep customer records separate from their private contacts. The flexible design can also support non-enterprise uses, such as managing parent contact information for teachers.

The app stores customer records, images, groups, birthdays, and vouchers. It can identify incoming callers when their phone number is saved in the database, and it includes tools for writing newsletters. Customer information can be imported from VCF files, exported as VCF or CSV files, or printed as a customer record through PDF export. Dark Mode and tools for EU-GDPR requirements are also included.

Data can be synchronized with a self-hosted MySQL server to help protect against loss or damage to a mobile device. This synchronization can also make the same customer data available across multiple devices. Optional features unlocked through an in-app purchase include custom fields with drop-down lists and sorting, an input-only mode, appointment management with QR-code calendar insertion, file attachments of up to 20 files per customer, and options for a custom title bar color and startup logo.

As an Android Productivity application, Customer Database is suited to mobile customer management rather than general private contact storage. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
