CustomShortcuts1.3

Create keyboard shortcuts for menu commands in Mac applications, so frequently used tasks can be triggered with combinations that are easier to reach and remember. CustomShortcuts can remap existing shortcuts or add new ones to menu items in most Mac applications that support user-defined shortcuts. You select the menu command and assign its shortcut directly, without scripting or editing System Settings.

Auto-completion helps navigate nested menu hierarchies and enter menu titles accurately. The app checks for ambiguous menu items, reducing the chance that a shortcut is attached to the wrong command. Shortcuts can also be copied and pasted between applications, making a consistent set of commands easier to maintain.

It suits Mac users who repeatedly perform common menu-based actions in creative, office, development, or other applications. CustomShortcuts works with KeyClu: KeyClu shows the active shortcuts for the current application, and its menu button can open CustomShortcuts for direct shortcut customization. The current 1.3 release is freeware in the System Tools category for MacOS, runs on Intel and Apple Silicon, requires macOS 11 or later, and is fully compatible with macOS 15 Sequoia.
