About
AM-DeadLink scans websites, browser bookmarks, and other link sources to locate broken destinations, missing files, and redirects. A site maintainer can use those checks to review linked resources, while a browser user can audit a saved-link collection for stale entries.
For websites, it examines ordinary hyperlinks alongside images, CSS files, JavaScript files, and frames. This broader pass lets maintenance work cover supporting page content rather than stopping at visible links.
The program accepts text, tab-delimited, CSV, and HTML files as additional sources for link checking. It can also inspect bookmarks held in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi, fitting both file-based audits and browser cleanup.
Version 7.2 adds support for Brave Origin and improves checks involving Cloudflare-protected pages. It also includes smaller improvements and fixes, and is published by Martin Aignesberger for x64 Windows.
