Desktop Scriptures2.3.4

Read LDS scripture offline, search passages by keyword, and annotate them with personal notes, tags, and verse highlights in Desktop Scriptures. Its study references include the Topical Guide and citations from General Conference, giving readers related material alongside the scripture text.

A Scripture of the Day banner provides a changing daily focus, while Resume Reading remembers the five most recent chapters. The searchable Journal supports one entry per day and can connect that entry to a verse or chapter, and accent-color settings allow visual customization. These tools suit individual study, lesson preparation, and keeping an organized record of ongoing scripture work.

A folder synchronized by a cloud client such as Nextcloud, OneDrive, or Google Drive can make the application’s data available across devices without Desktop Scriptures itself connecting to the network. Optional offline reminders can check an entered Temple Recommend expiration date and display Family History prompts at random intervals. Opt-in network features add conversational AI scripture search through the user’s own AI endpoint, a Church News headline, a Come Follow Me helper for the current week, and an Inspirational Message from the churchofjesuschrist.org homepage; a General Conference reminder appears daily during approximately the two weeks before Conference using its announced dates.
