Save multiple Dock arrangements under names such as Design or Coding, then switch between them instantly with a single click using DockFlow. It solves the nuisance of repeatedly rearranging apps and folders when moving between projects, creative work, and other task-focused setups. You create a preset by opening the apps for a workflow, naming it, and saving the current Dock; the initial setup is done once and layouts can then be recalled on demand.

Presets can include folders, files, and website links, while app groups can be separated visually with Dock spacers. DockFlow supports instant switching through hotkeys, key sequences, or multi-press shortcuts, and it can control what happens after a change, such as opening an IDE with a project or selecting a browser profile. It works with the native Dock rather than replacing it and does not require permissions.

Integration with Apple Shortcuts lets existing automations trigger Dock changes, while Focus Mode can switch the Dock and launch the relevant apps as soon as a mode changes. You can also lock a layout to a particular screen so it does not move between displays, making the utility useful for developers, designers, and people who regularly change work contexts.

Version 1.85 is freeware for MacOS, requires macOS 13 Ventura or later, and runs on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Activation requires a license purchase; permanent licenses include one year of updates and have no subscription.
