DSA Assistent

DSA Assistent keeps the practical details of a Black Eye role-playing session at hand, helping players and game masters manage money, combat, wounds, dice, and initiative from an Android device. It serves as a digital helper for sessions in which these records would otherwise be tracked on paper or across separate tools. The app is used with permission from Ulisses-us.com.

Its tools include Moneybag Manager 2.0 for handling the party’s funds and Fight scenes and wounds manager 1.2 for recording combat developments and injuries. Cube Manager 1.0 provides the dice-related utility, while GM Ini Manager 1.0 helps the game master organize initiative during encounters. Together, these focused managers support the recurring bookkeeping that accompanies a Black Eye game without trying to replace the tabletop rule set.

DSA Assistent is intended for players and game masters who want quick access to session aids during play, especially when combat, shared finances, or turn order become difficult to track manually. Privacy is a central characteristic: the app has no trackers and uses no permissions. It is open-source, and its current presentation includes older screenshots that are planned for later updating.

Ideas and bug reports can be submitted through the project’s GitHub issue tracker at github.com/phrogg/DSAAssistant/issues/. Its narrow set of session managers distinguishes it as a practical companion for Black Eye play rather than a general-purpose role-playing suite.
