Easy Move+Resize1.8.1

Easy Move+Resize lets you reposition a window by holding modifier keys and dragging with the mouse from anywhere inside it, rather than targeting its title bar. With Cmd+Ctrl held, left-button dragging moves the window, while right-button dragging resizes it. The point where the right-click begins determines the resizing direction, so clicking near a corner acts like grabbing that corner, while clicking near the top center adjusts the top edge.

Based on behavior found in many X11/Linux window managers, it suits people who frequently arrange overlapping windows or work with large desktop layouts. The modifier-key choices can be changed from the application icon menu, and selecting Middle Click resize makes the middle mouse button activate resizing. Every modifier enabled in that menu must be held for the gesture to work, while the Disabled option turns the behavior off. The menu can also bring a background window to the front during a move or resize, restore default settings, or disable the feature for the particular app most recently used.

Version 1.8.1 is a freeware System Tools release for macOS on Intel and Apple Silicon. Accessibility permission is an important setup point, with troubleshooting guidance available when that permission does not work. If the system refuses to launch the app because it cannot check it for malicious software, the developer also provides guidance for that situation.
