About
Fast Response Output lets users control PowerLab output signals and produce a corresponding response from the device input. It reacts directly to the PowerLab input, generating the resulting output in less than 1 millisecond. This makes it suitable for instrumentation and control setups where an output must follow an incoming signal with very little delay.
Users select a supported PowerLab as the master device and use the Fast Response Output setup dialog to manage the available outputs. On /30 and /35 series PowerLabs, the extension controls digital outputs. On /20, /25, /30, and /35 series PowerLabs, it controls analog outputs, so the output type depends on the PowerLab series in use.
The software is intended for people working with those PowerLab families, including setups that require fast signal-driven responses. Developed by ADInstruments, it runs on Windows and uses the x86 architecture.
Version 1.3.0400 improves master-device handling by correctly recognizing a changed master and determining whether it can work with the currently selected device. The setup dialog now also displays the name of the selected PowerLab, making device selection easier to verify.
Architecture: x86
