Feeds

Feeds is a minimal RSS and Atom feed reader for Linux. It is designed for reading the latest news from subscribed feeds through a simple interface. The application fits the Productivity category by helping users gather and review updates in one place.

The interface focuses on current items from the feeds a user follows. Articles open in a web view by default, with JavaScript disabled to support a faster and less intrusive reading experience. Feeds also includes a reader mode based on the reader mode used by GNOME Web, also known as Epiphany. This gives users an alternative way to read article content within the application.

Feeds supports importing and exporting subscriptions through OPML. This makes it possible to bring an existing feed collection into the application or save that collection for use elsewhere. OPML support also suits users who regularly manage their subscriptions across feed-reading tools.

The software is open-source and runs on Linux. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing. As a Linux productivity application, Feeds is suited to users who want a focused way to follow RSS and Atom updates without a complex interface.
