FIDO2.1 Security Key Management Tool0.2.1

FIDO2.1 Security Key Management Tool lets users inspect and administer connected FIDO2.1 security keys from a macOS window. Its information panel presents device details such as the manufacturer and model, while the device selector identifies connected keys. The tool also supports changing a key’s PIN and restoring the device through a factory reset.

The interface is organized into device selection, an information panel, and action buttons for the chosen key. After selecting a key and entering its PIN, users can open the Passkeys view to see stored credentials grouped by website or domain, inspect individual entries, and delete unwanted passkeys. If no PIN has been configured, the tool uses 0000 as the PIN entry.

A FIDO2 key with enrolled fingerprints also requires a fingerprint swipe for authentication in the initial window. The program runs on macOS Ventura 13.0 or later with an Apple Silicon Mac, including M1 and M2 systems or newer, and works with a compatible FIDO2.1 key connected through USB or an NFC reader.

Version 0.2.1 is freeware in the Security & Privacy category and suits people using hardware keys for account protection and privacy workflows. This Apple Silicon release is built from the same open-source codebase as the Windows and Linux editions, while providing a Mac-focused interface for key management.
