About
Review study material by stepping from one flash card to the next with keyboard controls, keeping attention on the material rather than on navigation. flash-cards provides a focused review flow in which you read each card, reveal its definition or explanation when needed, and continue through the deck. This suits learners who rehearse organized material during self-study, revision sessions, or repeated practice.
Cards are arranged into decks, allowing different subjects or sets of study material to be handled separately. An integrated editor lets you build new decks and revise decks that already exist. Deck content is stored in simple JSON-formatted files, linking the editing workflow with the review experience through a readable, straightforward format. Full-screen mode presents the cards in a study view with fewer visual distractions.
Ken VanDine publishes flash-cards as open-source software in the Education category for Linux. Version 0.1.0 requires Linux and snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64) architecture. Its combination of keyboard-based review, definition display, full-screen study, and deck editing makes it suited to learners who want to create and repeatedly work through their own card collections.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: x86_64 (amd64)
