floccus bookmark sync

Keep bookmarks synchronized privately across browsers and devices with floccus bookmark sync, using an Android app that stores and manages your saved pages in one place. It addresses the problem of bookmarks becoming fragmented when people use several browsers, phones, and computers. Synchronization can use Nextcloud, Linkwarden, KaraKeep, any WebDAV or Git service, Google Drive, or Dropbox, with end-to-end encryption available for the synchronized data.

The app is the standalone Android bookmark manager variant of floccus, while floccus can also be added to desktop browsers to connect their bookmark collections. Floccus also supports tab synchronization across its supported apps and browsers, making it useful for carrying both saved pages and browsing sessions between devices. On mobile, the app cannot access bookmarks held directly inside mobile browser apps, so those bookmarks are viewed in floccus or moved through HTML import and export.

It suits people who self-host their synchronization service, use cloud storage, or want a private bookmark collection shared between workstations and Android devices. Safari is currently unsupported because of technical limitations, and mobile synchronization targets a folder in the floccus mobile app rather than mobile browsers.

This System Tools software is open-source and runs on Android 6.0 or newer on universal architecture; the current version is 5.11.0. It contains no ads and does not collect data, distinguishing its privacy-focused approach from browser-only bookmark storage.
