Flowkeeper1.1.0

Flowkeeper divides your work into Pomodoro intervals, signals approaching breaks, and helps protect focused time at the desk. Its timing follows the Pomodoro Technique described in Francesco Cirillo’s original book, while a classic desktop-first interface avoids Electron and concentrates on doing one task well. It is designed for power users who prefer direct control through configurable keyboard shortcuts.

Work items can be arranged in backlogs, including daily backlogs, todo lists, and reminders, with built-in categories that you can customize or replace with your own. A colorful system-tray indicator shows progress at a glance; fullscreen rest notifications are enabled by default, and an audible knock warns when one minute remains. Settings control these alerts, along with dark or light themes, the classic timer display inspired by Flowkeeper’s 2010 interface, and the appearance of the tray icon and focus widget. Ticking and dings reproduce a kitchen timer, while an optional melody can play during rest periods.

You can review progress across the last 7 days, 30 days, or 12 months, then export work summaries in Markdown, CSV, JSON, and other formats for timesheets or digital logs. Data can be stored in plaintext files for copying, backup, or manual editing, and exported as text for processing or later import; Flowkeeper can also run external programs on every event to connect with other systems in real time. The current 1.1.0 release is open-source software by Constantine Kulak for Linux in the Education category, requiring snapd and an x86_64 (amd64) system.
