FocusMastodon2.12.0.20240624

Adjust themes, fonts, tab placement, and display mode to shape a bright, configurable Mastodon experience on a mobile device. FocusMastodon uses Material Design while giving readers extensive control over the interface, including a darker night mode for low-light viewing. Tabs can be reordered around each person’s preferred workflow, making frequently used timelines and account views easier to reach.

Background synchronization keeps account content current, and its controls can be configured independently for each of the two supported accounts. Mute filters hide selected content from view, while the readability-focused browser opens web content inside the client. Native media playback handles YouTube content, Mastodon GIFs, and Mastodon videos directly in the timeline, so those items can be viewed without switching away.

Android widgets place the home timeline, mentions, and unread-count information on the device outside the main application. These features suit Mastodon users who want quick status checks, tailored reading, and account-specific control during everyday mobile use. FocusMastodon is open-source and requires Android 7.0 or newer, with builds for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures; the current version is 2.12.0.20240624.
