FreeCell42.2

Deal and play FreeCell4 as a patience card game on an Android phone, arranging cards from the tableau and free cells toward the foundations. The app restores the position of your last played game when it opens, while the plus button on the second toolbar starts a new deal and a separate control restarts the same deal. Select the top card of a stack or a free cell, then tap another top card or an empty space to move it; an invalid destination transfers the selection to that new position, and tapping the empty play area cancels the selection.

Undo and redo arrows let you revise moves, while the up-arrow command automatically sends eligible top cards to their foundations. FreeCell4 is a port of Freecell For Maemo, originally made for the Nokia N900, with its GTK graphics replaced by Kivy for Android packaging. Version 2.2 adds a move counter at the bottom of the screen and prevents rotation while card animations are running.

FreeCell4 is an open-source Android game under the GNU General Public License, intended for casual solo play and for people familiar with the Maemo version. It supports Android 5.0 or later on arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a devices. The game state is kept in private app storage; users who choose to grant Android storage-management permissions in system settings can inspect files in /sdcard/.freecell4maemo/, although altering them is at their own risk.
