About

Children can practice keyboard and mouse skills, work on arithmetic, explore science concepts, and build reading skills with GCompris. Its activities include table memory, enumeration, mirror images, balancing scales, giving change, canal locks, color mixing, and gravity.

Game-oriented exercises add memory, Connect Four, tic-tac-toe, Sudoku, and the Tower of Hanoi, while other activities cover telling time, Braille, mazes, and musical instruments. Designed for children aged 2 to 10, the suite offers more than 100 activities, with additional ones being developed.

GCompris runs on Linux with snapd and supports x86_64 (amd64) systems. It is published by KDE, is currently at version 26.1, and is distributed under an open-source license.
