Geo Tracker - GPS tracker5.6.2

Record journeys with Geo Tracker - GPS tracker, which plots your route, calculates trip statistics, and lets you share the result with friends. During a trip, it can serve as a navigation aid by rotating the map toward your direction of movement and helping you retrace a route through unfamiliar territory.

You can mark significant waypoints, find a location from known coordinates, and review a saved track after returning. Routes supplied as GPX, KML, or KMZ files can also be opened in the app. It suits travelers, hikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts who want a route record for navigation or later analysis.

Tracks and nearby areas are available through OpenStreetMap and Google map schemes, along with Google and Mapbox satellite imagery. Map areas are stored on the phone and remain usable offline for a while, with the best results from OpenStreetMap maps and Mapbox satellite images; an internet connection is needed to download map imagery. GPS is enough for recording tracks and calculating statistics, while background recording may require additional device configuration described in the app instructions, and settings include optimized background power use plus an economy mode.

Version 5.6.2 adds custom waypoint emojis displayed on the map and directional arrows showing travel direction, with arrows available only on OSM or Mapbox maps. It also supports changing the app language internally, adding, viewing, and searching trip comments, lower battery consumption, and smoother performance.
