GNOME Recipes2.0.4

Plan what to cook today, tomorrow, throughout the coming week, or for a special occasion by browsing GNOME Recipes’ recipe collection. The collection brings together recipes gathered by GNOME contributors from around the world, giving home cooks ideas for everyday meals and planned events. Recipes can adjust ingredient quantities to match the number of servings you intend to prepare.

Save promising dishes for later or place them among your favorites so they are easier to find when planning meals. Add personal notes to recipes, then create, edit, and organize your own contributions alongside the included dishes. Recipes also lets you share your recipes with friends, making it useful for exchanging family dishes or planning meals together. A hands-free cooking mode displays instructions while you work, helping you follow steps without handling the computer.

After choosing dishes, generate a shopping list and export or print it for use at the store. This makes the application useful for cooks learning new meals, households organizing weekly food plans, and anyone preparing a menu for a particular occasion. GNOME Recipes runs on Linux and is open-source.
