GSAK for Locus3.4.38

GSAK for Locus prepares geocaches from a GSAK database so Locus can import and display them on an Android device. It connects the database-preparation workflow in GSAK with Locus map, turning prepared geocache data into content that can be viewed during trips.

Before using it, copy the relevant GSAK database onto the Android device. Configure the database paths in GSAK for Locus so the add-on can find and read that copied data. Once those locations are set, Locus can import the geocaches for browsing and navigation.

The imported geocaches remain available for offline viewing on the device, which suits geocachers traveling through areas with limited connectivity. Offline access depends on completing the database copy and path configuration first, so the preparation stage is central to the workflow. The add-on is intended for anyone who organizes geocache data in GSAK and wants to carry a prepared collection in Locus.

GSAK for Locus is open-source software for Android in the Navigation & Travel category, version 3.4.38, requiring Android 7.0 or later. Its Universal architecture supports the platform’s applicable device architectures. In the current release, logs appear in Locus again, and the software’s dependencies have been updated.
