About

Screen incoming messages by deciding which senders you want to hear from, then keep new mail visibly separate from messages you have already seen with HEY Mail. It gives email a structured flow for receiving, reviewing, and returning to useful correspondence instead of treating every message as one undifferentiated stream. Developed by Basecamp, LLC, it suits people who want a more deliberate way to manage incoming mail and keep useful content accessible.

New messages remain grouped at the top while previously viewed messages sit below, making the inbox easier to review without mixing old and new items. Unread messages can be opened and scrolled through consecutively, allowing several messages to be read as one continuous session. An attachment library collects received files in one place, so a file can be found without first locating its original email. Set Aside moves messages that may matter later into a separate, accessible collection while removing them from the main inbox view.

For desktop email users, HEY Mail 1.3.7 runs on amd64 systems and requires Linux with snapd. It is commercial software in the Productivity category, intended for people who handle email as part of their regular desktop work.
