About
HWiNFO examines the hardware inside a Windows PC, shows its condition, and turns the findings into reports. It brings hardware analysis, live monitoring, and reporting together so users can investigate a machine without relying on separate utilities. The program can be used to identify installed components, inspect their reported operating values, and record a hardware overview for troubleshooting or reference.
Its monitoring view helps track the system while it is running, making it useful for diagnosing unusual behavior, checking a newly assembled computer, or observing hardware during demanding work. Reporting provides a more durable record of the detected configuration, which can assist with maintenance, upgrades, technical support, and comparing a system before and after a change. Combining inspection and ongoing observation in one utility is what distinguishes HWiNFO from a simple static hardware-inventory viewer.
It suits PC builders, technicians, enthusiasts, and anyone who needs detailed information about a computer’s physical components. HWiNFO is published by Martin Malik and REALiX s.r.o. Version 8.54 is freeware in the System Tools category for x64 Windows systems, and its stated coverage also includes DOS.
