ImageType3.0.0

ImageType lets you place custom text and visual styling on photographs or build new text-based graphics from scratch. It is designed especially for visually impaired and blind users creating social media posts, greeting cards, YouTube Shorts, and other shareable images. A high-contrast interface with full screen-reader compatibility supports accessible editing while keeping written content and presentation together.

Built with PySide6, the application works with modern screen readers and accessibility tools. Its multilingual text input handles any language, including right-to-left Arabic and mixed Arabic-English writing. If a system font cannot display Arabic correctly, the smart fallback engine switches to the embedded Amiri font to prevent damaged or missing characters. Enabling Fit to Width uses binary-search sizing to calculate the largest font that fits within the image boundaries, while layout anchors such as Top Left, Center, and Bottom Right are disabled automatically when wrapping takes precedence.

Users can load local images, create solid-color canvases, or export transparent PNG overlays, with presets for 16:9 Standard, 1:1 Square, and 9:16 Portrait formats. Optional shadows and adaptive text outlines improve contrast, with stroke width adjusted according to the chosen font color. Graphics can be copied directly to the clipboard for pasting into messaging or editing applications, and local profiles preserve text styles, fonts, colors, and canvas settings for reuse. Dynamic QSS themes provide configurable interface styling.
