Interactive Data Editor2.13.1

Interactive Data Editor lets you reshape and refine uneven data through a graphical workspace before using it for analysis or other practical work. It is designed for cases where raw measurements contain gaps, outliers, inconsistent spacing, or other imperfections that benefit from direct visual editing.

Drag one point or several selected points with the mouse and keyboard to adjust values precisely. The editor can smooth datasets automatically with spline or linear Kernel smoothing, and it can fit an arbitrary function to the plotted data. It displays two-dimensional and gridded three-dimensional data, with LaTeX rendering support, and exports images in five formats at any chosen resolution.

Several datasets can remain open for simultaneous work, while tools fill missing values, remove bad points, and filter records according to a condition. Users can repeat or mirror data, exchange data between two lines or surfaces, and reverse the sign of a selected portion. Undo and redo support makes exploratory changes easier to control. A spreadsheet editor supplies basic Excel-like operations, including formula parsing.

Useful in teaching, data preparation, and hands-on examination of experimental or irregular datasets, it is published by Koushik Naskar as open-source software. Version 2.13.1 runs on Linux with snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64) systems.
