JMP SIM Manager

Use a compatible phone or tablet to add, remove, enable, or disable eSIM profiles held on the JMP eSIM Adapter with JMP SIM Manager. The adapter is a removable eSIM chip that gives devices without built-in eSIM support access to downloadable profiles. This makes the app useful for managing a portable cellular identity from a host device rather than from the equipment that will ultimately use it.

A built-in compatibility check assesses whether the host device has the capabilities needed to operate the adapter. After a profile has been downloaded and enabled, the manager is no longer required for continued use of that profile. The adapter can then be placed in a Wi-Fi hotspot, basic phone, or laptop, where it presents itself as an ordinary SIM card.

If one host cannot manage the adapter directly, management can instead be carried out from another compatible Android device, through a PC/SC reader attached to a PC, or via SIM Toolkit with a self-hostable remote server performing TLS termination. The software is intended for people who use the JMP eSIM Adapter across different devices and need to maintain its stored profiles.

JMP SIM Manager is open-source software for Android 9 and later, supporting arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 hardware. In the current jmp-v1.7.2 release, another hotfix addresses problems in the download interface.
