About
Use kalzium to examine chemical elements and bring their key properties into one chemistry reference. Selecting an element displays details such as its melting point, electron affinity, electronegativity, electron configuration, atomic radii, mass, and ionisation energy. This combination of reference data and practical calculations supports chemistry study without separating basic facts from problem-solving tools.
An isotope table provides a focused view of isotope information for closer comparison. Periodic-table color schemes can distinguish element blocks, simulate different years, or present temperature-related views, giving the table several informative perspectives. Kalzium also visualizes the spectral lines associated with individual elements. Its molecular weight calculator handles chemical formulas and substances, while a three-dimensional molecule editor allows structures to be explored visually. An equation solver addresses stoichiometric problems.
The program suits students and other chemistry learners who need both element reference material and tools for working through formulas, molecular structures, and quantitative exercises. The current version is 26.04.3, and KDE distributes kalzium under an open-source license. It runs on Linux with snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64) systems.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: x86_64 (amd64)
