Take turns moving and attacking your opponent while the board progressively breaks apart beneath the action. Kechi is a board game designed specifically for two players, with each participant trying to navigate an increasingly hazardous playing area. Every turn combines movement with the opportunity to attack, so decisions become more difficult as usable sections disappear.

The game takes its inspiration from adventure-film scenes in which people struggle across a collapsing rope bridge. That idea becomes an interactive match where the board itself steadily loses ground, changing the conditions of play as the contest continues. Players can use it for direct head-to-head sessions when they want a compact game built around changing terrain and opposing moves.

Kechi runs on Android and supports Universal architecture, allowing the same application build to cover the platform’s supported device architectures. The current release is version 1.2.0. It is open-source software, making its code available for inspection and further development. The game is intended for two people sharing a match, rather than for solo play or a larger group.
