Koofr Vault

Koofr Vault is an open-source Android application for storing files in encrypted Safe Boxes. It is designed for photos, videos, documents, and other files that users want to keep in a protected cloud storage area. The application is part of the Cloud Storage category and is included with all Koofr plans, including the free plan.

Users can create Safe Boxes and upload individual files or folders to them. Files can be downloaded to the phone or opened in other applications, and the app can take a photo and save it directly to a Safe Box. Biometric unlocking is also available for accessing Safe Boxes.

Encryption and decryption take place on the device when files are accessed. A Safe Key known only to the user is required to decrypt cloud content, and Koofr states that the key, unencrypted file data, and unencrypted metadata are not sent to or stored by the service. First-time users must create a free Koofr account before using the application.

Koofr Vault is intended for Android devices and provides access to Safe Box content through its mobile interface.
