Libre Librivox listener3.3.0

Libre Librivox listener lets users search for and play public-domain LibriVox audiobooks from a mobile device. As an unofficial listener, it gives people a dedicated way to discover public recordings and enjoy them during travel or other situations where an internet connection may be unavailable.

Books can be browsed by genre and language, while its search connects to the archive.org API and accepts queries for titles, authors, or languages. Users can save audiobooks for offline playback, and the application remembers the current position so listening can resume later. Playback continues while the application runs in the background or while the device screen is turned off.

The interface is available in multiple languages, and the project welcomes additional translations. It contains no advertisements, and its GPL3 open-source license permits the software to be examined and contributed to under that license.

Version 3.3.0 runs on Android 7.0 or later and targets the arm64-v8a architecture. Interface work credited to Gaston Gichure adds shimmer effects and padding to the library’s loading bars, while the audio player now adjusts its layout to the screen size.
