Lock Screen Notes

Lock Screen Notes is an open-source Android productivity app for creating short notes that remain available as reminders. It is intended for quick thoughts, reflections, grocery lists, and other small items that users want to keep visible for later. The app focuses on creating and managing these notes with minimal interruption.

Notes can be written quickly, using a single tap to save an idea in moments. After creation, a note is displayed on the Android lock screen as a notification. Users can choose whether notes appear together in one grouped notification or as separate notifications, and can set them to display prominently or more subtly where the device supports those options.

Lock Screen Notes can run at startup so its notifications return after the device is restarted. It also uses external storage to read and write backups. MirrorNest distributes the official Android build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
