Lumi - Interactive Content with H5P0.10.0

Create, edit, and preview interactive HTML elements packaged as H5P content directly on a Linux desktop with Lumi. Educators can assemble learning materials without programming knowledge and see changes immediately, even before saving. Its editing environment includes more than 40 H5P content types, such as interactive videos, fill-in-the-blank activities, and multiple-choice quizzes.

Users can obtain content types directly from the H5P Hub and work with every H5P type supported by the application. H5P packages can be saved to the local filesystem, while finished activities can be exported as standalone HTML bundles or SCORM packages. Lumi Analytics presents student progress for reviewing how learners interact with the material. Teachers and other educational-content creators can share exported HTML files with students instead of depending on a learning management system such as Moodle or a content management system such as WordPress or Drupal.

This desktop workflow is suited to preparing lessons, exercises, assessments, and interactive demonstrations independently of those systems. Lumi is a community project from Sebastian Rettig and is not affiliated with Joubel AS, the organization behind the H5P core and many H5P content types. The open-source Education software runs on Linux systems with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) architecture.
