Mattermost Desktop6.3.2

Mattermost Desktop lets users open a Mattermost workspace and coordinate work through shared team conversations. It brings together discussions for an entire team, smaller private groups, and direct one-to-one exchanges in one client. This gives participants a central place to exchange decisions, updates, and work-related questions while coordinating ongoing tasks.

Participants can share and view image files in conversations, exchange audio, and share their screens during collaborative sessions. Beyond team messaging, Mattermost includes workflow automation and project management capabilities for organizing collaborative work. Webhooks and Slack-compatible integrations allow in-house systems to connect with the platform and bring operational events into team discussions.

The application is aimed especially at technical and operations teams whose workflows depend on clear communication. Governments, banks, and technology companies use it for secure collaboration and to help reduce risks and errors in technical work. Using the desktop client requires access to a Mattermost server URL, so its use depends on an available Mattermost server. Mattermost Desktop 6.3.0 is open-source software published by Snapcrafters for Linux and requires snapd. Its supported architecture is x86_64 (amd64).
