Microphone is a simple open-source Android utility that sends the sound captured by the phone’s built-in microphone to an audio output. It is intended for users who need a basic way to hear microphone input through a connected audio device. The app belongs to the System Tools category.

To reduce the risk of acoustic feedback, Microphone operates only when an audio cable is plugged into the smartphone or a Bluetooth audio receiver is connected. It is ad-free and does not include additional settings, keeping its operation straightforward. The app has no more complex controls beyond its microphone-output function.

MirrorNest distributes the official Android build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing. The project is no longer maintained: its source repository disappeared in June 2025, so further updates are not expected.
