Build interconnected factories that refine raw materials, supply ammunition to turrets, and provide the resources for construction and unit production. Mindustry combines open-ended factory management with real-time strategy and tower defense, turning industrial planning into a fight to protect your core and break through enemy bases.

Production blocks form supply chains for advanced materials, while liquids, optional coolant, and lubricant enable more demanding manufacturing setups. Enemy waves threaten your structures with fires and raids by flying units, so defenses must be maintained alongside expanding industry. Units can manage your base automatically or be directed against hostile positions, including mechanized forces assembled through dedicated production lines.

Its campaign spans the planets Serpulo and Erekir across 35 handcrafted maps and more than 250 procedurally generated sectors. Players capture territory, establish factories, research blocks, transfer resources between sectors using launch pads, and hold regions against periodic invasions. The Games title also supports cross-platform cooperative multiplayer, team-based PvP, sandbox sessions, public dedicated servers, private matches, and customizable rules.

A map editor with scripting support and built-in mod support extend the game beyond its campaign scenarios. Mindustry 8-fdroid-160.4 runs on Android 5.0 or later for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices, and is distributed under an open-source license.
