msds lets users consult material safety data sheets in Persian, helping pharmacy and other safety-document readers reach information that may otherwise be available primarily in English. It brings English and Persian MSDS records together, with entries covering chemical and pharmaceutical safety information, including IRFDA documents. The education software is intended for pharmacy students, researchers, healthcare professionals, and others who need to reference these sheets in Persian.

Version 1.0.4 adds 22 English MSDSs, 22 Persian MSDSs, and 150 new IRFDA MSDSs, while also correcting bugs. The project was developed by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences to translate MSDS material into Persian and broaden access to these pages. Shadmehr Ghorbani, a Pharmacy Faculty student, serves as developer, tester, and editor. Roshanak Hariri, a medicinal chemistry resident, supervises the work and gathers data, with medicinal chemistry professor Dr. Tahmineh Akbarzadeh as academic supervisor.

msds is open-source and runs on Linux with snapd, for x86_64 (amd64) systems.
