About

MultipointCalibration calibrates transducers, sensors, pH electrodes, and other measurement equipment by relating their measured outputs to reference values. It supports both linear and non-linear calibration, allowing users to model equipment with either a straight-line response or a more complex relationship. The result is an established or adjusted calibration relationship for the instrument being measured.

For a proportional response, users apply a linear calibration; equipment whose readings do not follow that pattern can be handled with a non-linear method. The calibration curve and fit information help users assess how the chosen relationship represents the equipment’s behavior. This makes the extension relevant to laboratory, industrial, and other measurement setups centered on instrumentation rather than general data processing or device management.

Developed by ADInstruments, version 1.3.0400 is a Windows System Tools release for x86 systems. It is intended for people working with supported measurement hardware and reference measurements in practical calibration workflows. MultipointCalibration is an extension rather than a general-purpose measurement-management environment.

The current release updates its curve-fitting algorithms to use the same approach as LabChart Data Pad Plots, so generated equations may differ slightly from those produced by earlier MultipointCalibration releases. The fit dialog now shows an uppercase R-squared value for every fit except point-to-point, while Chi-squared has been removed from the fit-parameter list.

What's new in v1.3.0400

Changes Since Previous Version There have been various enhancements and changes to the following: - The underlying curve-fitting algorithms used for Multipoint Calibration have been updated to be in common with those used in the LabChart Data Pad Plots, which means that the equations generated may differ slightly from those for earlier releases of Multipoint Calibration - Coefficient of Determination (R-squared) is now shown with an upper-case 'R' in common with its use in LabChart Data Pad plots and in line with most of the current literature - Chi-squared has been removed from the list of fit parameters shown in the Multipoint Calibration Curve dialog - The Multipoint Calibration Curve Fit dialog now displays the R-squared value for all fits except point-to-point.
