No Thanks!1.00

Reveal a card and decide whether to take its points or pass by paying a chip, using No Thanks! to play the card game on an Android device. Created by Thorsten Gimmler, this popular game suits groups of three to seven players and was originally known as Geschenkt!, first published by Amigo Spiele in 2004 and later translated into English by Z-Man Games.

The deck contains cards numbered 3 through 35, with nine randomly removed before the remaining cards are shuffled. Players receive 11 chips each in three- to five-player games, nine each with six players, or seven each with seven players, and may conceal their chips. The starting player reveals the top card, then either takes it or says “No thanks!” while placing one chip on it; play proceeds clockwise as each player makes the same choice. Taking a card also gives the player every chip already on it, after which that player reveals the next card, continuing until the deck is empty.

At scoring, consecutive cards count as one card using only the lowest number in each run, so 30, 29, 28, and 27 score 27 points. Every retained chip subtracts one point, making card values and chip payments central to the strategy, and the lowest total wins, including tied players. No Thanks! is open-source software for Android 13 or later, built for Universal architecture, and its current version is 1.00.
