NS-USBloader6.1

NS-USBloader sends installation data from a mobile device to a Nintendo Switch through USB or Wi-Fi, handing it to a console-side homebrew installer. It solves the need to connect an Android device to supported Switch homebrew during an installation process. The supported companions are Huntereb/Awoo-Installer and XorTroll/GoldLeaf, so it fits workflows built around those applications.

Awoo-Installer supports both USB transfers and Wi-Fi network transfers, including connections made through Awoo NET. GoldLeaf supports USB transfers only. The GoldLeaf connection has been tested with release 1.2.0. In typical use, the Android device serves as the source of the installation data while the selected homebrew application handles the console-side installation.

NS-USBloader is intended for Switch homebrew users who need a wired or local-network link between their mobile device and console. It runs on Android, uses Universal architecture, and is open-source. Version 6.1 adds a request for local-network permission on Android 17 and newer, and that permission is mandatory when transferring through Awoo NET.
