Numbers & Letters challenges players to reach a target with mental arithmetic or build the longest possible word from a random set of letters. In Numbers mode, six numbers and a target appear, and players combine the numbers step by step using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a calculator-style sequence. In Letters mode, ten letters are drawn, and the goal is to find the longest word possible before the clock expires; the format takes inspiration from a well-known French television game show but has no affiliation with it.

Solo play alternates numbers and letters rounds across four difficulty levels: Emile, Nestor, Monique, and Mathieu. Two people can share one phone in Duo mode, where each player retains a score, or Head-to-head mode, where each round has one winner. Network play extends the same two-player formats to separate phones connected by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. A daily challenge supplies a randomly selected goal with trophies for successful-day streaks, while streak, timed, words, and no-mistake challenges support self-paced practice; free training removes both time and round limits.

The game records statistics, awards trophies for progress, and includes light and dark themes, while operating offline without ads or trackers except for the network connection used during network games. Version 1.133 removes conjugated verb forms from the French dictionary, makes H, J, K, Q, W, X, Y, and Z appear less often in French, and replaces Submit with a Continue button at the end of a round; Mathieu-level streak and timed-challenge trophies for 12 and 15 now sit at Ruby and Diamond.
