Observer core (obsr) gives users the core wallet functions needed to transact on the OBSR network and take part in its governance system. It handles the transaction and governance activities associated with OBSR, making it the central wallet software for participants in that network.

The wallet supports anonymized transfers through the Zerocoin Protocol, adding privacy to eligible OBSR transactions. Its SwiftX feature provides guaranteed zero-confirmation transactions for cases where waiting for confirmations would delay activity. A custom Proof of Stake protocol secures the OBSR network and its blockchain.

Masternodes provide decentralized blockchain voting, forming a decentralized autonomous organization where community members can submit proposals and vote on them. Proposals that pass receive monthly treasury funds distributed through the blockchain, connecting network decisions with ongoing community funding. The software therefore suits OBSR wallet users, network participants, and masternode operators involved in governance.
