vanillacash1.0.1.5

vanillacash Wallet lets users manage XVC while exploring mining, staking, exchange, wallet, and swap-related activity from Linux. Its blockchain uses a hybrid Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake model for generating blocks, combining CPU mining with stake-based participation.

Version 1.0.1.5 changes the mining algorithm to HMQ1725, based on DiminutiveCoin’s Highly Modified Quark design, with resistance to ASIC hardware and suitability for CPU mining. The release removes the former masternode feature, which is no longer operational, and restores UTXO-based staking intended to distribute participation more fairly. It adds BIP-65 compatibility for atomic swaps and resolves earlier interoperability problems involving exchanges, decentralized exchanges, multiple-wallet configurations, and ElectrumX.

The open-source application runs on Linux with snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64) systems. The upgraded chain is not compatible with the older chain, so the codebase represents a distinct version of the Vanillacash network rather than a simple continuation of the original implementation.

Vanillacash has operated since 2015 and is associated with a multi-platform tokenization strategy covering DeFi ecosystems such as BEP-20 and QRC-20, while retaining the original UTXO blockchain as its sole coin-generation mechanism in a non-inflationary model. Since 2018, it has belonged to the EWMCI Crypto Ecosystem and is included in the EWMCI Bronze, Stock-to-Flow Stars, and EWX-18 indices.
