About
OpenKuma is an open-source Android application in the Internet & Browsers category. It is an unofficial client for accessing Uptime Kuma monitoring information from a mobile device and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Uptime Kuma. It is intended for Android users who need to review monitoring data while using the app’s supported platform.
The monitor list can be searched and sorted, and individual monitors can be saved as local favorites for easier access. A monitor’s details include its current status, 24-hour uptime, response times, general information, TLS certificates, and recent checks. A separate certificate view organizes certificates by their soonest expiry. An events log records status changes, while an offline cache keeps the last known state available when a connection is unavailable.
OpenKuma supports light and dark themes, Material You on Android 12 and later, and English and French. On the device, it stores only the session token, protects that token with Android Keystore, and does not write the password to disk. The app has no ads, tracking, Google services, or data sharing. It is available free of charge as open-source software.
MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing. This distribution places OpenKuma in MirrorNest’s Android Internet & Browsers catalog as a mobile tool for viewing Uptime Kuma monitoring information. Its open-source license permits distribution as source-available software under that license.
What's new in v0.1.4
Instant alerts through UnifiedPush: with a push app such as ntfy installed, OpenKuma is woken the moment a monitor changes, with no connection held open and no permanent notification. No Google, no FCM. Paste the address Settings gives you into an Uptime Kuma webhook, Request Body set to Custom Body with {"wake":1}. Real-time mode now runs a background check every 30 minutes behind its connection. Fixed: an expired session failed silently, and a status change could go unannounced.
