OpenKuma lets you check the condition of services monitored by Uptime Kuma from an Android phone without changing the connected monitoring instance. It is a read-only client for self-hosted Uptime Kuma, connecting to configured servers through the Socket.IO API. This suits operators and service owners who need a quick mobile view of live monitoring data while away from their main dashboard.

The dashboard reports current counts of up, down, and pending monitors, active incidents, and certificates approaching expiration. Monitor browsing includes instant search, sorting, and local favorites, while each monitor page shows its status, 24-hour uptime, response times, general details, TLS certificate information, and recent checks. Dedicated views list certificates by soonest expiry and record status-change events, and an offline cache preserves the last known state for later viewing. Light and dark themes, Material You on Android 12 and later, and English or French interfaces cover the presentation options.

OpenKuma is open-source, contains no advertising or tracking, and does not require Google services; it stores only the session token on the device, protected with Android Keystore, and never saves the password to disk. Information is sent only to the Uptime Kuma servers configured by the user, while an optional push app can receive data when instant updates are enabled, a setting that starts disabled. This unofficial client is not affiliated with or endorsed by Uptime Kuma.

Version 0.4.1 runs on Android 8.0 or later for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices. Tapping an Up, Down, or Pending dashboard tile filters the monitor list to that status, and tapping it again restores all monitors; the filter also combines with search, favorites, and aggregated servers. Group monitors are no longer counted by the dashboard or widget, so outage totals may decrease after updating.
