OpenMultiMaps displays OpenStreetMap maps on an Android device, giving travelers and other map users a way to choose among sources arranged for different purposes. Rather than presenting every option as one undifferentiated collection, it sorts available maps by the subject or situation they address. A selected map can use the device’s current location, making the chosen source useful for location-based map viewing.

Five sections organize the choices: Trips, Life-skills, Hobbies, Regional maps, and Contributions. Each section contains several maps, allowing users to begin with a topic or geographic focus and then select a suitable source. Users can switch from one map to another when they need different information, while retaining the categorized selection structure.

It suits Android users who consult different OpenStreetMap sources for travel, practical activities, personal interests, regional viewing, or contribution-related work. The current release is version 1.3.0 and requires Android 4.2 or later. OpenMultiMaps uses a Universal architecture and is distributed under an open-source license.
