Paper22.11

Create notebooks in Paper and fill them with Markdown notes, keeping related writing together instead of scattering it across separate files. Developed by Soumyadeep Ghosh, it is a Linux productivity app for people who want a straightforward place to organize written information. Each notebook provides a separate container for a subject, project, or collection of related notes.

Paper renders Markdown in an almost WYSIWYG style, so formatting appears close to its finished form while you edit. Notes can include highlighted text and strikethroughs for emphasis, annotations, or visible revisions. Assigning a color to a notebook also recolors the application interface to match the notebook currently in use. A built-in trash can holds notes you no longer want without making their removal immediately permanent.

The app suits Linux users writing study material, personal references, project notes, or other organized text within a small notebook collection. Current version 22.11 requires Linux with snapd and runs on x86_64 (amd64) architecture. Paper is open-source software, and its focused feature set centers on Markdown writing and basic notebook organization rather than broader productivity functions.
