Paperless NGX Uploader1.8.5

Share a document from another app with Paperless NGX Uploader, and it sends that file to a configured Paperless-NGX server. It connects the system Share menu with a Paperless-NGX service, keeping document filing centered on a single sharing action. Each share action handles one file through the native Share Intent integration.

The app provides fields for the server URL, username, and password. It stores credentials securely and can recover them automatically when it starts. A connection test indicates whether the server responds, the credentials are invalid, or the host cannot be reached. After a successful connection, it retrieves the available tags and presents them in a searchable selection dialog.

Users can define default tags for incoming documents, with those choices saved and restored at startup. Each shared file is uploaded with the configured defaults or with tags selected for that upload. A status indicator displays the upload’s progress state, failed transfers generate a Snackbar notification, and successful uploads send the app back to the background.

Paperless NGX Uploader is intended for Paperless-NGX users who want to file documents directly from other Android applications. Version 1.7.3 runs on Android 10+ devices using the arm64-v8a architecture and is open-source.
