Password Depot 1818.1.1

Password Depot 18 stores passwords and access details in an organized, security-focused Windows application, giving users one place to manage credentials instead of scattered records. It is designed for password-management tasks that require stronger safeguards and more control than a basic utility. AceBIT GmbH positions it for professional environments with strict security requirements.

Users can keep secure notes and files alongside login data, connect the program to Enterprise Server, and use browser add-ons to fill credentials while browsing. Its lightweight internal browser supports web-form filling and passkey entries, while the add-ons can work with multiple password databases through the new browser add-on API. These security mechanisms and access-data tools distinguish it from simpler freeware and shareware password utilities.

Version 18.1.1 adds passkey support to both the browser add-ons and the internal browser, along with interface improvements and minor bug fixes. The x64 release targets Windows, while related Password Depot editions are available for macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.

The Windows edition operates as a full version for 30 days, after which users can activate it with an activation code or continue in Freeware mode. Freeware mode allows up to 20 passwords, prevents editing when more than 20 are stored, and limits use to one password file. Businesses can instead use Enterprise Server and its Web-Client, which are also available as a 30-day trial.
